Deleting your data

You're in control of your data. Here's exactly how to remove it from pebzy - including anything we read from Shopify, Google Ads, or Meta.

Disconnect Google Ads or Meta on a legacy/custom account

These connections are not part of the public Shopify App Store product. If an existing legacy or separately contracted custom account has one enabled, open Connections and choose Disconnect next to Google Ads or Meta. We immediately stop accessing that platform and delete the stored credentials for it. Disconnecting Meta also clears mixed assistant history, taught facts, exports, and ad proposals that could contain Meta-derived data, preventing that data from remaining in a later cross-provider chat.

Remove your Shopify connection, or delete your whole account

In the embedded Shopify app, the store owner opens Privacy and account, types DELETE, and chooses Delete account data. This cancels the Shopify app plan and permanently removes pebzy-held account data. Uninstall the app in Shopify Admin too if you do not want a new pebzy account to be created on a later visit. Existing legacy/custom accounts use Settings → Danger zone instead.

Ask us to delete it for you

Prefer we handle it? Email dylan@toldyouicoulddoit.com from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my data”. We’ll confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

Meta data deletion

If an existing legacy/custom account connected pebzy to Meta (Facebook or Instagram), you can also remove it from your Meta Business Tools / Apps settings. When Meta notifies us of a removal, our data-deletion endpoint deletes the Meta connection and conservatively clears stored assistant-history, proposal, audit, taught-fact, and export containers that could include Meta-derived data. It then issues a confirmation code you can use to check status.

What gets deleted

  • Your stored Shopify credentials and any legacy/custom connected-platform credentials.
  • Any connected-platform performance data we cached for enabled legacy/custom reporting.
  • Your account profile, settings, and the messages you exchanged with the assistant.

We may retain a minimal record where the law requires it (for example, billing records), and then only for as long as required.
